Step 1 Pre-reading

1. Show the learning ao-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-bidi-font-style: italic">T: Do you like singing? Now let’s enjoy a song.

Ss:Enjoy.

T:What’s the song about?

Ss:Jobs.

T: You’re so clever. What jobs can you find in the song?

 

 

 

 

Ss: farmer , teacher, worker, doctor

T: But what do they do?

S: Maybe farmers grow food. Teachers teach English. Workers make cars. Doctors help people in the hospital…

【设计意图:歌曲为职业类单词教学做铺垫,明确本课学习目标,有的放矢。同时引出课题,让学生们大胆想象,说说这些职业的人们会干什么?】S: What does your father do? What does your mother do? What about your mother?

2. Learn to say.

T: What does Mike’s father do?

S: He’s a teacher.

T: What does Mike’s mother do?

 

 

S: She’s a writer. (新授 writer)

  S: She’s a factory worker. She makes sweets.

【设计意图:从看过渡到阅读,并在阅读过程中找出文中对工作的具体描述,学习动词以及第三人称单数形式,并初步建立动词与名词之间的联系。】
